Text on Path

Learn how to make a text follow a path created with the pen tool and other tools.

- Start by opening a new file, size doesn’t matter
- Using the Pen Tool draw a path, it can be in any way

- Now using the Horizontal Type Tool(T) click over the path

- You should have something like this, you can hide the path by pressing Ctrl+H

- You can also use this with the tools shown below

- Using the Ellipse Tool(U), we draw a circle by pressing Shift while drawing it

- Now using the Horizontal Type Tool, click over the path in circle

- Write your text and you’re done

gilberto: While you are writing on your circle, click on the “Toggle the character and Paragraph panels” icon in your Text Tool Toolbar and select “Subscript”.

how can I make the text go left to right but around the botttom of the ellipse?

I would also love to know this. I have it going around the circle in one direction but I need it starting from the opposite side on the lower half.

On that great looking menu bar, how can I change to colors to #344370 instead of black, and maybe a lite #729dfo blue instead of grey.

How about just a bar without buttons same color i just asked.
